The Legend Of Zelda Wii U Release Date Nears As First Draft Promo Video Leaks Out?

The Legend of Zelda 2016 release date for the Nintendo Wii U could be near as the first draft of the game title's promotional video reportedly leaked out. The professionally prepared clip seems to suggest that Nintendo is gearing up for a major revelation to happen anytime, a new report said.

GamerPro claimed in a report that it came in possession of a promo video titled First Draft that contains teasers of The Legend of Zelda that Nintendo is exclusively developing for the Wii U game console. As the clip title had indicated, work on the Zelda for Wii U is yet to be finalized.

Nonetheless, the same report indicated that Nintendo is likely to make a statement on the matter soon, noting that "production on the video is still underway and is wrapping up shortly."

GamerPro is convinced that the Zelda promo video it previewed was authentic, citing the clip's "sheer level of production values it possesses ... and the classic watermarks."

The publication, however, decided against making the promo video public in order to protect it source, which was described as "seemingly reliable," with unquestioned inside access to the ongoing Zelda production. GamerPro stressed too that not sharing the clip for now protects it from possible copyright issues.

At any rate, the report hinted that Zelda for Wii U appears headed to a largely family-oriented environment as the First Draft clip clearly reflected a theme that targets parents and children, which Movie Pilot said is hardly surprising as the Zelda series naturally appeals "to players both young and old."

Still, The Legend of Zelda for Wii U is expected to be delivered with high-definition graphics, enhanced story line and richer content. "The Legend of Zelda Wii U will encompass the biggest map ever seen in the games - moving the dungeon explorer closer towards being fully realized as a true open world game," Movie Pilot said on its report.

But what players will actually get will all depend on "the advanced capabilities of the Wii U system," the report added.

And so is the release date as Movie Pilot stated that hardware settings of the Wii U influenced Nintendo's decision to push back The Legend of Zelda launch from 2015 to anytime this 2016, apparently to stuff the game title with richer open world possibilities.
