There are rumors that Nintendo is days away from launching the Nintendo Switch. UK retailer GameSeek has listed the Nintendo Switch for 198.50 GBP (about $245). It is tagged for release by March 17.

GameSeek is notorious for arbitrary release dates and unconfirmed schedules. It could be that the information is just a placeholder. GamesSeek has listed a pre-order price, but the product could cost higher.

There are also speculations that the Nintendo Switch would come with Bluetooth and 5 GHz WiFi ac support without 3G or LTE connections. It could also come with a non-removable battery which could make it difficult to be repaired. It is said to output 307.2 MHz of graphical power when undocked and 768 MHz when docked.

Several new gaming consoles were launched in 2016, but the Nintendo Switch has arguably been the most popular. The hybrid console was revealed in October, and many think that it could attract Nintendo's first-party market and other gamers who are also PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners. However, others were skeptical about its housing and graphical and processing power. There are talks that porting games from one platform to another will be very hard on the Switch.

Some lucky fans will get to try the Nintendo Switch a day after it is officially launched on Jan. 12. The launch will be broadcasted live from Japan, and after that, there will be another event in New York where fans may be able to experience the Switch firsthand.

The games the players can try on the Nintendo Switch include Dragon Quest X, Dragon Quest XI, NBA 2K17, Project Sonic 2017, Just Dance 2017, Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, Splatoon Switch, Lego City Undercover, Constructor, Cube Life: Island Survival, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Mario Kart, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The new Mario game which appeared in the Nintendo Switch trailer in October could also be included.
