Oppo Find 9 Specs and Other Leaks: Snapdragon 835, 4100 mAh Battery, and Dual Edge AMOLED

The premium Oppo Find 9, which is said to be set for launch in the second quarter of 2017, is expected to pack several high-end features such as the Snapdragon 835, 4100 mAh battery, and a dual-edged AMOLED screen. There are speculations that the device would be sold for about $580 (RMB 3,999).

The smartphone's screen will flaunt a 5.5-inch 2K display (some suggest it will be a 4K), in combination with its 21MP Dual LED/16MP cameras in rear and front, both having smart stabilization technology. The Oppo Find 9 was expected to be released in 2016. However, that did not happen. 

Aside from the brilliant display and camera features, the device's 4100 mAh battery will also support VOOC flash charge technology. The device is also expected to come with a Type-C connector.

It will also pack Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835, which is known to be smaller but faster than its predecessors. The processor will certainly give the smartphone a boost both in basic tasks and gaming experience.

There are also rumors that the device will come in two variants. The basic variant will have Snapdragon 653, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage, while the premium one will have the powerful Snapdragon 835, 6GB ROM, and 128GB RAM.

The Oppo F1 Plus has reportedly overtaken the iPhone in terms of sales in China, according to the new report from Counterpoint Research. Although Apple has dominated the Chinese smartphone market since 2012, the tables are slowly turning.

The Oppo F1 Plus (also known as the Oppo R9) sold 17 million units in the country, while Apple only managed to sell 12 million iPhone 6s units last year. Apple's shipment to China declined by 21 percent, while Oppo's sales increased by 106 percent.
