Apple reportedly started iPhone 8 production ahead of schedule.

Apple is reportedly starting its iPhone 8 production earlier than expected, Barren's Tech radar reported citing BlueFin Research Partners John Donovan and Steve Mullane. But don't get too excited as the report suggested that it would not likely have any impact on iPhone 8's release date.

"The most intriguing data points that we have uncovered suggests that AAPL is ramping the next generation iPhones earlier than historical norms, although we have no indication that there has been any change in release plans for the iPhone 8/X," the report read.

Apple will likely start creating its next smartphone as early as June, marking the first instance the Cupertino giant kicked off its production earlier than scheduled. Donovan and Mullane also noted that the overall quarter builds for this year soared to 48 from 45 million compared with last June.

But with its promised feature-packed update, Apple's move can be totally understandable. The decision will not only buy Apple more time to sort out manufacturing problems like iPhone 6's battery dilemma and the much-dreaded 'Touch Disease' but also store more supply upon launching.

Meanwhile, with so many leaks being released, fans expectations are growing. Rumors suggest that the new iPhone 8 will boost both its specs and features never seen on any iPhone models before.

The iPhone 8 will allegedly become Apple's first device to showcase a curved, edge-to-edge OLED display, with reported plans that the company might ditch its classic physical home button sensor and incorporate its Touch ID directly into the screen. It is also poised to have upgraded front and rear cameras, an all-glass cover, and wireless charging.

Apple's iPhone 8, which is suggested to be released alongside the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus this year, will also reportedly have advanced biometrics such as facial recognition and even iris scanning. It will be powered by the most recent A11 chipset, which is faster and more energy-efficient than the current A10, and got an IP68 rating, allowing users to submerge the iPhone 8 at 1.5 meters deep underwater for 30 minutes.
