"Horizon: Zero Dawn" is considered as one of PlayStation 4's most highly anticipated games for 2017. The game's market analysis has predicted strong sales for the open-world role-playing game from Guerilla Games. The release of the game is just one week away, and it is already receiving excellent reviews from critics from across the industry.

A group of video games market analyst called SuperData has predicted that the game "Horizon: Zero Dawn" will reach sales up to six million copies by the end of 2017, according to GameSpot.

The CEO of SuperData Joost van Dreunen precisely said that there are a lot of factors that point towards the strong sales that "Horizon: Zero Dawn" will be having at its launch and over its lifetime. This can be the tremendous positive feedbacks that the game has received from several recent reviews. 

He also added that "Horizon: Zero Dawn's" release comes at a key moment for Sony. The reason is hardware sales have started to drop down which has led to greater support for software sales.

Lastly, Dreunen said that the game might inspire new players to buy a PlayStation 4 with the help of several reviews the game has. Around 54 million consoles of Sony's PlayStation 4 were sold, while Microsoft's Xbox One has two million, according to estimates by SuperData. The fact that the game will only be exclusive to PlayStation 4 suggests that the gap will only extend as consumers flock to play with "Horizon: Zero Dawn."

In addition to the good feedbacks from different sources, a major marketing campaign may also serve well for the game. An example would be advertisements from different parts of the internet and on TV, specifically one on ESPN in the past week.

"Horizon: Zero Dawn" will be released for PlayStation 4 on February 28 in North America, March 1 in Europe, and March 2 in Japan.
