Google Reduces Price Of Nexus 5X; iPhone 5se To Launch In March

The tech giant Google has reduced the price of the Nexus 5X smartphone.

The handset is available at $349 for the 32 GB variant and $299 for the 16 GB variant on the Google Store. The Nexus 5X smartphone sports a 5.2-inch screen with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.

The mobile phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset. Furthermore, the Nexus 5X has 32 GB or 16 GB of internal storage and 2 GB of RAM. The handset runs the newest version of Android 6.0 M.

The Nexus 5X smartphone features a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chat and a 12.3-megapixel rear-facing camera with dual-LED flash and laser autofocus, according to a Bitbag report.

It also includes a fingerprint scanner for authorizing payments and security. Moreover, the Nexus 5X has a  2,700 mAh battery that provides 420 hours of standby time and 20 hours of talk time.

The Nexus smartphone is available in ice, quartz and carbon. The 32 GB model is priced at $349, whereas the 16 GB model is priced at $299.

Meanwhile, Cupertino-based Apple will launch iPhone 5se in March, according to a BGR report. Earlier reports suggested that the upcoming phone will have the same hardware specifications as the iPhone 5s.

However, according to a new report, iPhone 5se will borrow some features from the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6.

The upcoming iPhone 5se will feature a curved glass as earlier seen on iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6. The device will be powered by A8 SoC and M8 motion coprocessor. Furthermore, the iPhone 5se will support VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2 and 802.11ac Wi-Fi.

It is expected that the iPhone 5se will have a 1.2-megapixel FaceTime (front-facing camera) and an 8-megapixel iSight (rear camera). In addition, the device will support bigger panoramas and autofocus for video recording.

The iPhone 5se will support Live Photos. This feature is presently available on the iPhone 6s Plus and iPhone 6s exclusively. The phone will have an NFC chip to facilitate Apple Pay.

According to some reports, the iPhone 5se will come in colors such as rose gold, space gray and silver.
