'Injustice 2' Update: 'Versus Collection' Spotted Online; Tag-team Game Mode Added in the Sequel?

New updates for "Injustice 2" will feature will feature a possible tag-team game mode and a "Versus Collection" for the sequel.

It seems that "Injustice 2" will have another collector's edition as Project Triforce announced the "Injustice 2 Versus Collection" featuring nine inch figures of Batman and Braniac, WWG reported.

While not much has been shown in the "Versus Collection," these two, highly-detailed collectible statues is something both gaming and DC fans will love to have in their shelves when they buy it along with the "Injustice 2" game.

Warner Bros. Interactive and NetherRealm Studios previosly announced that "Injustice 2" will have a Deluxe Edition and Ultimate Edition.

The Deluxe Edition of "Injustice 2" will feature three downloadable fighters as soon as they become available, an exclusive Defender shader for use in gear customization, and one premier skin, while the Ultimate Edition will feature nine future fighters, two exclusive shader packs (Destroyer and Defender), as well as three premier skins.

Warner Bros. stated that premier skins will completely change the look of characters, adding new dialogue and using a different voice. These three skins are Power Girl for Supergirl, John Stewart for Green Lantern and Reverse-Flash for The Flash.

The Deluxe Edition will cost around $80 and the Ultimate Edition will cost $100. The Deluxe version is only available digitally, but both standard and Ultimate editions are available at retail, as well as digitally. Darkseid is a pre-order bonus for all three.

In other news, "Injustice" could be rumored to have a tag-team game mode and will play similar to the 2009 "Mortal Kombat" game, EventHubs reported.

Game producer Ed Boon teased that "Injustice 2" will also have a Tournament mode that will disable the equipment of each DC character, as several players are worried that the Gear System will be a disadvantage to gamers who are new to the game.

Boon added that there will not be any gear sold as DLC, and that online play will allow players to choose opponents that either use or do not have any gear.

Previous reports revealed that NetherRealm Studios streamed the fifth and final "Shattered Alliances" trailer for "Injustice 2" featuring the game's main antagonist Braniac.

There is also news of the Xbox One version file size of 26.82GB. The HDD size requirement is on the lower side considering the fact that most of the games nowadays takes close to 40-50GB HDD space for installation.

"Injustice 2" will launch on May 16 for the PS4 and Xbox One.
