'Pokken Tournament' update: Chandelure featured in latest trailer [VIDEO]; Rank matches, multiplayer modes added, Shadow Mewtwo available for early purchase!

New "Pokken Tournament" updates will feature a new game trailer for Chandelure, rank matches and multiplayer modes and Shadow Mewtwo available as an early purchase.

Bandai Namco Entertainment streamed a new gameplay trailer for "Pokken Tournament" as the video highlights the ghost fire type pokemon, Chandelure. As seen in the video, Chandelure uses its long limbs to fight and has several devastating mid-range attacks. Chandelure can charge up its attacks, use flame based techniques and can shrink in size to avoid getting hit, Anime News Network reported

Chandelure was first announced in "Pokken Tournaments" official website joining other pokemon characters such as Pikachu, Pikachu Libre, Machamp, Lucario, Suicune, Gardevior, Weavile, Blaziken, Charizard, Gengar, Sceptile, Braixen, Garchump, Mewtwo and Shadow Mewtwo.

"Pokken Tournament" will also feature support characters like Lapras, Nine Tails, Eevee, Whimscott, Jirachi, Mismagius, Emolga, Fennekin, Snivy, Frogadier, Dragonite, Rotom, Togekiss, Victini, Pachirisu, Magikarp, Sylveon and Croagunk to help players boost the main rosters skills and power ups.

In other news, new game modes will be included in "Pokken Tournament" game. The first game mode will be a "Single Battle" and features three difficulty settings and local battle options. Players are given a choice to either use the GamePador the standard Wii U controller.

Online multiplayer content is also present as players can challenge other players in Ranked or Friendly matches. Battle codes are used to play online, while gamers can unlock in-game prizes in Ranked matches, Serebii reported.

Shadow Mewtwo can be a playable character when gamers pre-ordered "Pokken Tournament". While Shadow Mewtwo's Amiibo figure has not yet been developed, his Amiibo card will be added to the game.

Bandai Namco announced that a bundle for "Pokken Tournament" will be available at $304, while the single game is at $60.

Recent reports revealed that the GamePad for "Pokken Tournament" cannot be used in other video game titles. Gamers also found out that the GamePad can only used by the Player 2 and the Player 1 will have to contend on using to Wii U controller. Nintendo stated that they will make an announcement soon regarding the problems within the GamePad. "Pokken Tournament is also one of the many fighting video game titles to enter EVO 2016 joining the likes of "Tekken 7", "Street Fighter 5", "Super Smash Bros." and more.

"Pokken Tournament" will launch on March 18 for the Wii U console.
