Despite the good news of more DLC to come, Capcom did not specify if it would be free DLC, or indeed what it would be about at all. For now, the developers are working hard on "Not a Hero" DLC as Kawata explained that Capcom aims to match the high quality of the upcoming DLC to that of the main "Resident Evil 7" game, and needed more time in order to achieve that goal, GamesRadar reported.

"Not a Hero" DLC will star "Resident Evil" main character Chris Redfield in a whole new and different storyline connected to "Resident Evil 7." Chris in the game will have players fully prepared within unlike the inexperienced Ethan Winters, as he is equipped with the powerful Albert-01 handgun, a new HUD that shows how much ammo Chris has left and reveals his health status, and an oxygen tank that lets him explore harsh environments.

Chris in "Not a Hero" will attempt to connect "Resident Evil 7" to its predecessors as he has a target to reach. Several rumored leaks revealed that Chris will encounter a new BOW monster and players will learn a new ability in the game.

The new enemy type is a twist on the Molded monsters that players encountered many times over in the main "Resident Evil 7" game. The new type of Molded will spew toxic gas, which should force players to change up their combat strategies a bit. Chris will reportedly be able to punch any enemies that happen to get in his way, which is consistent with the brute force his character has displayed in recent games.

Meanwhile, Capcom will launch another "Resident Evil" classic for the PS4 as "Resident Evil Code: Veronica X" is now available this week.

"Resident Evil Code: Veronica X" is an updated version of the Dreamcast original, and tells the story of Claire Redfield's search for her brother three months after the events of "Resident Evil 2." This enhanced version, which released for PS2 in 2001, features an additional nine minutes of cutscenes and a few graphical tweaks., IGN reported.

"Resident Evil 7" is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
