'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' Nintendo Switch Release Date Set for March 2018; DLC Pack 4 to Launch Next Month!

The latest details for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will feature a possible release date for the Nintendo Switch and DLC pack 4 to launch next month.

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced their plans to launch three new games for the Nintendo Switch within the company's fiscal year. These games include the "Taiko Drum Master," a "Tales of" series and "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," and they will like be out for the Nintendo Switch on April 1, 2017 until March 2018, Gematsu reported.

The "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" for the Nintendo Switch version will co-op gameplay that would allow players to share their own "DBX2" experiences with friends. On Jan. 13, Bandai Namco teased players with a preview of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" in the Nintendo Switch presentations. The game publisher tweeted a glimpse of the game in the new console.

Meanwhile, Bandai Namco Entertainment confirmed that the fourth DLC pack for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is scheduled to launch on June 2017, Saiyan Island reported.

The DLC pack 4 of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2"will feature two new playable characters from the "Future Trunks" arc, Fused Zamasu and Super Saiyan Blue Vegito, plus a secret character within the game.

Super Saiyan Blue Vegito will have new tricks in his move set and Fuse Zamasu attacks include the Blades of Judgment and the Lightning of Absolution, with the Holy Wrath serving as the character's ultimate attack. The powerful game character will also have a mutated state known as red aura and even a white aura.

Bandai Namco previously launched DLC Pack 3 which featured Zamasu and Super Saiyan Rose Black Goku along with new raid quests, outfits and attacks.

In addition to the new characters, Bandai Namco announced numerous online events in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" which includes Frieza Siege Events, Level Up Campaigns, Character Tournaments, and Raid Bosses.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is currently available in the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
