"Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy" for PS4 Pro is not running at a true 4K render rate as it only runs at 1440p at 30fps. However, game critics say that the game still looks good.

Vicarious Visions and Activision will officially launch "Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy" on June 30 as an exclusive title for PS4, with a support for PS4 Pro. Ahead of its release date, the game developer confirmed that the remastered collection will only run at 1440p at 30fps on Sony's 4K console.

This piece of information surfaced from the developer's interview with Hip Hop Gamer. The video of this interview has been posted at his official YouTube channel.

At 2:25 mark of the video, Vicarious Visions' game director Dan Tanguay did mention this, Game Transfers noted. However, Hip Hop Gamer commented that the game still looks good anyway, adding that it does not matter.

"So [Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy] is enhanced for the PS4 Pro. It's actually not true 4K, it's [2560 x 1440p] running at 30 frames per second [...]," Tanguay revealed.

But One Angry Gamer asserts that the main issue here Sony's PS4 Pro does not meet its 4K capabilities in running a video game like "Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy" that is enhanced to support the 4K resolution rate. It's quite a blow at PS4 Pro, which Sony boasts as a 4K gaming console, and fans get to question themselves if they are getting the worth for the additional $150 cost.

"Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy" is available now for pre-order at Official PlayStation Store, GameStop, and other game retailers for a price of $39.99. It is a remastered collection of the series' first three games, "Crash Bandicoot", "Cortex Strikes Back", and "Warped" featuring Crash's journey across all levels to stop villainous Dr. Neo Cortex.
