Grand Theft Auto 5 is an open world, action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC platforms.

New updates for "Grand Theft Auto 5" will feature the return of the OpenIV mod tool and details on the Mount Chilliad UFO.

It looks like the popular "GTA" mod tool OpenIV is now back online in "Grand Theft Auto 5" after Take-Two Interactive took it down with a "cease and desist" letter several weeks ago. The move eventually outraged the gaming and modding fans, and begun lashing out on Steam.

The fans gave many negative reviews on "Grand Theft Auto 5" on Steam. However, Rockstar Games announced that the OpenIV mod tool will back in the game along with a new update, but it does seem likely that there might have to be a few changes to the way the mod works witin the game.

This gives gaming and modding fans a clear view of which the modding scene is expected to operate, to help align with what Take-Two and developer Rockstar Games will allow in "Grand Theft Auto 5." Rockstar posted an update on its website, clarifying its stance on fan-made mod content after initially raising concerns about how OpenIV could be used with "GTA Online."

Rockstar Games believes in reasonable fan creativity, and, in particular, wants creators to showcase their passion for in their games. Take-Two agreed that they will not take action against third-party projects involving Rockstar’s PC games that are single-player, non-commercial, and respect the intellectual property rights of the said parties, VG 24/7 reported.

Meanwhile, it seems that new details for one of "Grand Theft Auto 5's" great mysteries has been revealed.

Several dataminers uncovered a new line of net code in the recent "GTA Online" update, "Gunrunning" that indicates the answer on the UFO mystery in Mount Chiliad, PC Gamer reported.

The Chiliad Mystery refers to a serious of cryptic images in "Grand Theft Auto 5" that eventually bring players to the top of Mt. Chiliad at 3 am in the rain. With those conditions met, a massive UFO appears in the sky above them, an event that has quickly become one of the game's most popular easter eggs and one of the biggest conspiracy theories in modern gaming.

The mystery began four years ago, and after the initial discovery an entire team of "GTA" players digging through "Grand Theft Auto 5‘s" code has not been able to uncover anything else. That is until the "Gunrunning" update with models of an alien egg, a battered UFO, aliens, and government agents being discovered after players downloaded the patch.

The is also a script that has been attached on the egg, which appears to indicate it will feature into content plans after all, although some players have not discovered what they need to do to activate it.

The more convenient aspect of the code is the one that ties each of these new props to a specific location, with each one pointing towards Fort Zancudo. The base is already well-known in "Grand Theft Auto 5" for its ties to alien activity, so it seems unlikely to be a coincidence that base is not put there by Rockstar for no reason at all.

For now, players will just have to dig deeper on what the script is on the UFO eater egg in "Grant Theft Auto 5."

"Grand Theft Auto 5" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms.
