Huawei has recently announced during the CES 2016 that their Nexus 6P smartphone will be coming in with a gold color variant. The company also added that the Gold Nexus 6P will be available to the United States.

The Nexus 6P gold variant is one of Google's flagship smartphone leaks in 2015; however, this color option is not included in the first offered color options during its initial rollout.

Best Buy has already offered the device in November 2015, but the gold variant just came in so fans can check in-store or order it online. However, the easiest option to purchase it through the Google Store.

Currently, Google is adding it to its store roster. Customers may choose between a 32GB or 64GB phone for the price of $499.99 and $549.99, respectively. For those seeking for a 128GB variation of the phone, unfortunately it is not available but the possibility of having one soon has not been scratched out, Android Authority reported.

Just like the aluminum, frost, and graphite variants, the Nexus 6P gold also runs the company's Android Marshmallow operating system. It is being powered by Snapdragon 810 and features 12MP camera, as well as the Nexus fingerprint sensor. It weighs 178g and is 7.3mm thick. The Nexus 6P will also be using the USB-C connector instead of the usual Micro USB.

Nexus 6P device is basically made of glass and aluminum with some parts created out of plastic. These materials actually allow for improved quality of calls and better WiFi signals. it is not rounded elsewhere, but the sides have got chamfered edges which facilitate for a more comfortable handling. The right side buttons are aluminum made, while its power button has special texture for easy use.

When the power button is double tapped, the camera is launched in a second. When compared to the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 or LG G4 devices, the camera launch is faster.

Despite having a new color to look forward for, the Nexus 6P specifications and features have remained unchanged. The Nexus 6P has a 5.7-inch Quad, AMOLED HD display, a Snapdragon 810 for its processor, 3GB of RAM and 3450mAh battery.
