Batman: Arkham Knight is a action-adventure video game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment
Fans hope that "Batman Arkham Knight" will finally score on PC with the new "Game of Year" Edition. They are already disappointed that it has been cancelled for Linux and the Mac platforms.
Feral Interactive, the game developer of "Batman Arkham Knight", announced the latest game of "Batman Arkham Knight" for the Mac and Linux consoles about a year ago. However, the title is not going to get released for the Linux and Mac platforms. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment recently announced that the title will not come to these consoles at all.

On Feb. 4, Warner Bros announced about the cancellation of the title for Linux and Mac ports in a short post on Steam, according to Engadget. They said in this post that they were extremely sorry to announce that the game will not come to either of these consoles.
They further said that all those users who pre-ordered the game, "Batman Arkham Knight", for these consoles are requested to apply for a refund of their payment through Steam. Even though they announced this, Warner Bros did not provide any reason for the sudden cancellation of the game's release for Mac and Linux.
The fans who are following the game ardently think that the most likely reason behind the sudden cancellation is due to the poor performance issues of this title currently running on the PC console.
When the title was launched to the PC console back in June 2015, it was pretty broken and in a very terrible state, according to BGR. It was so disappointing that the developers pulled it from the store only weeks after its release and they also offered refunds to the customers.
This continued for a couple of months till Oct. 2015, when the game was back in the market and ready for purchase again. Despite all the tweaks and enhancements which were done since then, the game is still considered to be not up to the mark. As the game does not work well on the PC console, it could be a possibility that the developers think that it will not work well on Mac and Linus as well. Hence, the developers did not release it at all, to save the brand name.
