Here is a collection of our all-time favorite science fiction TV series that created a sensation in the world and left viewers of all ages mesmerized.

1. Quantum Leap (1989-1993): A scientist jumps into a quantum leap accelerator, only to find himself appearing in different times and places as different people. 

2. Fringe (2008-2013): Containing intertwined alternate dimensions and time lines, the series depicts fringe science with experimentation on humans taking center stage.

3. Star Gate SG1 (1997-2007): The lead actors walk across time as when interstellar gate that creates wormholes appears.

4. Firefly (2002): The movie is about a fierce galactic civil war and the story of a group of mercenaries.

5. The Twilight Zone (1959-1964): This was one of the earliest shows in the genre. Different stories were aired on every show with themes related to science and society, aliens, and future tech.

6. Star Trek (1966-1969): This is the earlier version of the Star Trek Saga, which gave birth to the fictional space travel odyssey that became the center stage of pop culture. 

7. Battle Star Galactica (2004-09): This is one of the highest rated sci-fi shows. But it started as a remake of an earlier version.

8. X-Files (1993-2002): This show made the lead characters Mulder and Skully into legends. Following the tagline 'The Truth is Out There' the two FBI agents probe into various cases of paranormal activities, many of which are a subject of government cover-ups.

9. Doctor Who (1963-89, 2005-): This is the longest running sci-fi series in history. It traces the adventures of a time traveler who travels using a British police box. At least a dozen actors have played the lead role to date.

10. Star Trek- The Next Generation (1987-1994):  The space travel sensation resulted in three spin-offs and a movie cross-over. It made Star Trek a household name.
