Microsoft awed the public as the company spent more than two hours unveiling products and updates during the "Microsoft Surface Event" on Wednesday. Microsoft Surface Studio

The Surface Studio is a 28-inch PixelSense display, touch-screen desktop PC that is only 12.5mm thick. The Studio is built with an Intel i7 processor, with up to 2TB of storage and 32GB of memory. The zero-gravity hinge of the PC screen allows it to tilt down, where it then transforms into a drafting board for drawing and creative purposes.

Interest buyers can now pre-order the Surface Studio for $2,999, but only limited quantities available for the season.

Windows 10 Creators Update

Microsoft wanted to escape the hassle of launching a new software, so the company opted to modify what it has on its hand. The Creator's Update is dubbed as the latest major update for Microsoft Windows 10. The update will include a new line of 3D creation tools and a custom tournament with live streaming for the Xbox application. The company will be releasing a Beta version of the Windows 10 operating system next week, but the final update will be rolled out during Spring.

Microsoft Virtual Realities

With Virtual Reality on the rise, Microsoft announced its first foray into the territory by introducing a new VR headset for Windows 10. The company announced that HP, Asus, Acer, Dell, and Lenovo would be producing the headset with an inside-out positional tracking that does not call for an exterior sensor to become functional. No concrete release date has been set, but the price for the new gear will start from $299.

Microsoft Paint 3D

With all the cool products and updates, Microsoft did not fail to return to its roots. The company has given its classic Paint a major update. The app now has a 3D focus. A creation from Paint brought to the virtual room, with the use of the HoloLens was shown on stage.

The "Microsoft Surface Event" proves that the company is moving towards creative innovation. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said that by bringing in mixed realities through AR and 3D content, the company would be able to bridge both Office and Gaming.
