Personal computers could be making a comeback. A new line of personal computers recently rolled out by Microsoft and Apple hints that the PC is returning to its glorious days.
Setting aside all the specifications and stunning colors, The Verge pointed out on one vital thing; prices.
The basic price of Apple's new MacBook Pro starts at $1,499. Users will need to shell out $1,799 if they decide to go for a Touch Bar, or $2,399 if they want to go beyond 13 inches and opt for the 15-inch version.
Meanwhile Microsoft's new all-in-one PC, the "Surface Studio," costs $2,999. But this could scale up to $4,199 if users decided to invest in 32GB of RAM and 2TB storage.
Even if there are efforts to make the PC reign again, there is no escaping the reality that people have become accustomed to smartphones and tablets. New designs may be coming, but people just are not thrilled with the PC anymore.
