You do not have to come from Hogwarts to cast Harry Potter magic spells. All you need is an Android handset, thanks to Google and Warner Bros.

Android devices can cast three new spells "Lumos, Nox and Silencio" in Google's latest applications to celebrate "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," the prequel to the international hit series Harry Potter.

To cast spells, Android's voice assistant should be activated first. The phone's flashlight will turn on just by saying "Okay Google, Lumos" while "Okay Google, Nox" will command the assistant to turn the light off. To put the handset into silent mode, users can simply say "Okay Google, Silencio."

Aside from the magical words from Tolkien's bestselling story, Android users can also explore the Fantastic Beasts world set in New York back in 1926. Users can make use Google Street View to visit the popular locations mentioned in the film including the Magical Congress of the USA (MACUSA), The Blind Pig and Tina, and Queenie Goldstein's magical apartment.

The Daydream virtual reality platform will complete the magical experience of fans as they will not only see the apartment of Newt Scamander but also perform wand magic in examining a treasure case where secrets about spells, beasts and puzzles are hidden.

Google also disclosed that YouTube would feature contents related to the Harry Potter prequel.
