The Meizu M3S, also known as the Meizu M3 Metal, has been released in India.
The Meizu M3S is the latest entry-level smartphone from the Chinese handset maker Meizu, Phone Radar reported. It was launched in China in June at $103.40 (699 yuan) for the 2 GB RAM variant and $132.98 (899 yuan) for the 3 GB RAM variant.
According to GSM Arena, the Meizu M3S has a design similar to the Meizu M3 but comes with a metal body instead of polycarbonate shell. It sports a fingerprint scanner embedded into the physical home button on the front.
The Meizu M3S has a 2.5D 5-inch high-definition display with a resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.5 GHz. It runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Flyme operating system.
The Meizu M3S comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. There is another variant with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard storage which can be further extended up to 128 GB using a microSD card slot. It is packed with a 3020 mAh battery that can last for a day of usage.
The Meizu M3S features a 13-megapixel autofocus camera at the back with LED flash. It also has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. Both cameras are capable of recording videos in 1080p resolution.
The Meizu M3S sports a hybrid SIM slot with the dual SIM dual standby support that can also be used as a microSD card slot instead of the second SIM. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 2.4GHz/5GHz, 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, and a microUSB 2.0 port.
The Meizu M3S measures 8.3 mm-thin with a weight of just 138 grams. It comes in gray, gold, silver, and rose gold color. It is priced at $119.87 (around Rs. 7999) for the 2GB RAM variant and $139.35 (approximately Rs. 9299) for the 3GB RAM variant exclusively via Snapdeal.
