Samsung unveiled its latest Gear smartwatch--The Samsung Gear S3--during the tradeshow in September. The smartwatch will become available in the United States on November 18.
This watch, which has a price tag of $433, would come in two models with a 1.3-inch, 360 pixels circular Super AMOLED Display. The device comes with the latest Corning Gorilla Glass SR plus protection as well as Samsung's iconic rotating bezel.
The bezel enables users to navigate the apps and messages. The smartwatch has a 4-day battery life.
The two Gear S3 smartwatch models--the Gear S3 Classic and Gear S3 Frontier--come with a wave of new features such as a water immune design, in-built GPS, and the ability to make contactless payments
The price of the new device from the South Korean company is significantly higher than the popular Apple Watch Series 1.
The Apple Watch Series 1 starts from $334 for the 38mm case and $371 for the 42mm case.
The Samsung Gear S3 device is larger than the Gear S2 smartwatch which has a longer battery life and also sports cellular connectivity
While it boasts of a dual-core processor like the Apple Watch Series 2, the entry-level wearable is not waterproof to 50 meters, nor does it have an in-built GPS support.

The Samsung Gear S3 is =compatible with any smartphone operating on Android 4.4 KitKat or higher. It comes with 1.5GB of RAM.
