Lenovo has finally launched its latest Phab series smartphone - the Phab 2 Plus - in India.
The Chinese smartphone maker has said that the Phab 2 Plus is now available in India on e-commerce platform Amazon India. Priced at Rs 14999 (approx. $225), the budget phablet from Lenovo is available in gunmetal gray and champagne gold color.
"As a brand, Lenovo continues to push the envelope on innovation to create products that are user-inspired," senior Lenovo India executive Amit Doshi said at a launch event in Mumbai."With the Phab 2 Plus, Lenovo is catering to the new age smart-device users who seek a larger than life experience. The device is conceptualized based on the fact that millennial are increasingly using smartphones for data and media consumption."
In June, Lenovo announced the launch of its latest Phab series phablets - Lenovo Phab 2, Lenovo Phab 2 Pro, and Lenovo Phab 2 Plus. The Chinese firm is also planning to launch the futuristic phablet - the Phab 2 Pro Tango - in India next month.
Lenovo Phab 2 Plus Specifications and Features
The latest affordable range phablet from Lenovo sports a 6.4-inch full high definition display with a resolution of the 1080x1920 pixels.
The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus is powered by a 1.3 GHz True 8Core MediaTek processor and runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GM internal memory, which can be expanded up to 128GB via a MicroSD card. The large screen device features a dual 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash along with an eight-megapixel front camera. It packs a strong 4050 mAH battery and comes with a fingerprint scanner.
