The ZTE Axon 7 Max smartphone has been introduced in China.
The ZTE Axon 7 Max has a large 6-inch full high-definition display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a pixel density of 367 ppi, and 16M colors. It supports 3D viewing with the naked eyes. The device is powered by the mid-range octa-core Snapdragon 625 chipset clocked at a speed of 2.0 GHz, and the Adreno 506 GPU.
The ZTE Axon 7 Max runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with the customized MiFavor 4.0 UI. It comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of built-in storage that can be further extended up to 200 GB via a microSD card. It also features the circular fingerprint scanner placed on the rear.
The ZTE Axon 7 Max comes with dual 13-megapixel cameras on the back with laser autofocus, and dual tone LED flash. It also has an 8-megapixel camera for capturing better selfies and video calling. The design of the back of the smartphone resembles the upcoming Huawei Mate 9.
The ZTE Axon 7 Max sports dual Hi-Fi AK4962 audio chips. It is packed with a 4100 mAh non-removable battery that supports Quick Charge 2.0 for fast charging. It is a dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by) smartphone.
The connectivity options of the ZTE Axon 7 Max include WLAN, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, and USB Type-C 1.0 reversible connector. Sensors are compass, accelerometer, fingerprint, and proximity.
The ZTE Axon 7 Max is priced at $439.54 (2999 yuan). ZTE is offering 360 yuan ($53) worth of 3D content for free with every purchase.
