The Sharp Aquos U SHV37 smartphone has been announced in India.
The Sharp Aquos U SHV37 is the latest device from Japanese multinational corporation Sharp in the Aquos series. It is the successor to the Sharp Aquos U SHV35 which was launched in May. The smartphone has been spotted online on the official website of the company.
The Sharp Aquos U SHV37 has a 5-inch IPS LCD touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and a pixel density of 294 ppi. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.4 GHz and coupled with Adreno 505 GPU.
The Sharp Aquos U SHV37 runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box. It comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of the onboard memory which can be further extended up to a maximum of 256 GB via microSD card slot.
The Sharp Aquos U SHV37 features a 13.1-megapixel camera on the back with LED flash and CMOS back-illuminated stacked. It also has a 5-megapixel camera on the front and comes with IPX5 / IPX8 / IP6X certification for waterproof and dustproof.
The Sharp Aquos U SHV37 is a dual SIM variant with LTE (Cat 4 150/50 Mbps, LTE Cat 6 300/50 Mbps) connectivity options. Other connectivity options include GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v.4.2, and microUSB 2.0.
The Sharp Aquos U SHV37 measures 143 x 71 x 8.3 mm in dimension with a weight of 137 grams. It is packed with a 2700 mAh battery pack that can deliver up to 24 hours of talk time and 950 hours of stand-by time.
There has been no announcement about the pricing and availability of the Sharp Aquos U SHV37. However, the upcoming smartphone will be available in different colors.
