The Lava A51 and Lava A76 Plus smartphones with Android Marshmallow have been launched at $61.95 (around Rs. 4199) and $82.60 (approximately Rs. 5599) respectively.
The Lava A51 and Lava A76 Plus are expected to go on sale offline via retail stores and multi-brand outlets across the India.
The Lava A51 has a 4.5-inch TFT touchscreen display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and a pixel density of 218 ppi. It is powered by a quad-core 1.2 GHz coupled with a 512 MB of RAM and 8 GB of onboard memory that is expandable up to a maximum of 32 GB via a microSD card slot.
The Lava A51 features a 5-megapixel camera on the back with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box. The connectivity option is just limited to 3G and support dual SIM.
The Lava A76 Plus has a 4.5-inch IPS LCD touchscreen display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and a pixel density of 218 ppi. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6580M chipset clocked at a speed of 1.5 GHz and coupled with Mali 400 GPU.
The Lava A76 Plus comes with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage that can be further extended up to a maximum of 32 GB via microSD card. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box. It is packed with an 1850 mAh battery and comes with sensors such as A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
The Lava A76 Plus is a dual SIM handset and supports 4G connectivity. It features a 5-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. Other camera features are high-definition resolution, grid, digital zoom, and photo timer.
The Lava A51 will be available in black, gold, and gray color, and the Lava A76 Plus in gold and gray color.
