During the Adobe MAX Conference, the company showcased some awesome updates to its CC apps.
Photo compositing is one of the most utilized tools in Photoshop as it is used to make art, ads, and even add special effects to movie format files. Project Felix has been created to extend the functions in Photoshop's photo compositing feature by integrating photo manipulation and adding 3D capabilities.
This software has next to limitless potential applications and can revolutionize some major aspects involved in web content production, even product visualization, and prototyping.
Also, Adobe Photoshop added a new search bar that allows users to search for in-app functions, internal documents, assets, and even external online tutorials. This new feature will seriously speed things up for users and make it more user-friendly, especially to those who are just beginning to use the application.
There are also big changes made to Dreamweaver, particularly the addition of whole new "developer mode" of the app. This new feature allows users to work with code while sharing their work in a visual format.
The list of changes made in Dreamweaver includes live browser previews, multiple cursors, the inclusion of Emmet in default, Quick Edit feature from Adobe Bracket, and a streamlined user interface.
For Adobe XD, it was announced that a commenting feature on designs shared with stakeholders for viewing would soon be available as well as the capability to share design specs and style guide from any Adobe XD file, which would translate to greatly simplifying the process of compiling a style guide. Another great feature to be expected soon is live collaborative work with other designers on documents, similar to Google Drive's capability.
Overall, Adobe's updates show that the company has been busy raising the bar further.
