The Vivo X9 smartphone has been listed ahead of its Nov. 16 launch in China.
The Vivo X9 recently appeared on the website of the Chinese telecommunications equipment certification center TENAA. It is now listed on JD.com, revealing that it has an aluminium-built unibody design. The listing is yet to be updated with more specifications and pricing details.
The Vivo X9 has a 5.5-inch full high-definition display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a pixel density of 401 ppi, 16M colors, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is expected to have AMOLED panel with very thin bezels on the sides. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.95 GHz and coupled with Adreno 510 GPU skin on top.
The Vivo X9 comes in two variants; a version with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and another with 4GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in memory. It runs on the latest FunTouch operating system based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. It has the curved antenna band design on the back like the Meizu Pro 6 smartphone.
The Vivo X9 features a dual camera setup on the front with a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 and 8-megapixel sensors with soft single LED flash to capture much better selfies. It also sports a 16-megapixel camera at the back for regular photos and videos with LED flash. It comes with the physical home button on the front with a fingerprint scanner as well as the volume rocker and power button placed on the right edge.
The Vivo X9 supports 4G LTE network technology and is a dual SIM smartphone. It is packed with a 3050 mAh Li-Ion battery. It will be available soon in black, gold, and rose gold color.
