The LYF Wind 7i smartphone has been launched in India.
The LYF Wind 7i is the latest smartphone from the India mobile manufacturer LYF. It is quite similar to the earlier launched LYF Wind 7, which was unveiled in August. It has a 5-inch high-definition display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and AGC Glass protection.
The LYF Wind 7i is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.3 GHz and coupled with Adreno 304 GPU. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box instead of an older Android 5.1 Lollipop in the LYF Wind 7.
The LYF Wind 7i comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage that can be further expanded up to a maximum of 128GB via a microSD card. It measures 143.5 x 72 x 8.7 mm in dimensions with a weight of 156 grams.
The LYF Wind 7i features an 8-megapixel autofocus camera at the back with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for better selfies and video chats. Other camera features include the red eye reduction, auto frame rate, continuous autofocus, video high-definition resolution supported in code, gaze detection, smile detection, blink detection, and panorama.
The LYF Wind 7i is a dual SIM smartphone. Other connectivity options are GPS, 4G/LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi calling, microUSB 2.0, and Bluetooth 4.0. The phone's sensors include an accelerometer, motion and gesture, flip to mute, proximity sensor, double tap to wake, light sensor, slide up to unlock, slide down to open camera, black screen gestures for app unlocking, and music player control gestures.
The LYF Wind 7i is packed with a 2250 mAh Lithium-Ion battery that can offer up to nine hours of talk time and up to 180 hours of standby time on 4G network. It has been listed on the official website of the company for only $73.44 (around Rs. 4999). It comes in two colors, namely, black and blue.
