Here is the latest Android 6.0 M release news for Moto E, Moto G 2014, Moto X (1st, 2nd and 3rd Generation) on US carriers.

The Moto X Pure Edition in the United States got its Android 6.0 Marshmallow update last month. According to a Science Times report,  the Moto G got Android 5.1 Lollipop update before receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.

The Motorola devices such as the Moto X Style, the Moto X Force, the Moto X Play and Moto X 2nd Gen,  2014 editions of the Moto G and Moto G 4G and the Moto G Turbo will get the Android Marshmallow update.

The Moto DROID Turbo, DROID Turbo 2 and Moto Maxx and Maxx 2 are the other Motorola devices that will receive the Android 6.0 M update.

USB Type C, Android Pay, Now On Tap, System UI Tuner, Custom Google Tabs, Clear Permissions System, Personalized Lockscreen message, Doze, smoother app experience, fingerprint scanners, new app drawer are some of the killer features of Android Marshmallow.

USB Type C allows for much quicker charging than conventional cables: it can completely charge a Nexus 6P smartphone in two hours.

Android 6.0 M is futureproofed with built-in USB Type-C support, therefore, as long as a user's device has the connection, Android M can take advantage of it.

Android Pay lets users to store debit card and credit card information on their devices, and then wirelessly pay for services and goods securely and quickly, according to Android Pit.

In another news, South Korean company Samsung began an Android Marshmallow beta test in Korea and some other regions that enabled users in those regions to get the Android Marshmallow update early.

This is a test for these users to see what is wrong with Android Marshmallow on the Galaxy S6. The Galaxy Tab S2, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy A8, Galaxy A7, Galaxy Alpha, Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S5 are the other Samsung devices that will get the Android Marshmallow update.

According to new reports, the Galaxy S6 Android M beta test will end on January 18th. It means that the rollout could be starting that week.
