The ZTE ZMax 3 smartphone is set to released in the U.S. through AT&T.
The ZTE ZMax 3 is the latest entry-level smartphone from the Chinese mobile company ZTE with an affordable price tag. It is a modified version of the ZTE Grand X 3 smartphone which was released in January.
The ZTE Grand X 3 has a 5.5-inch high-definition IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, a pixel density of 267 pixels per inch, and 16M colors. It has a 71.2 percent screen-to-body ratio.
The ZTE Grand X 3 is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm MSM8909 Snapdragon 210 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.3 GHz and coupled with the Adreno 304 graphics processing unit. It runs on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system out of the box.
The ZTE Grand X 3 comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in memory that can be further extended up to a maximum of 64GB with the use of a microSD card slot. It is packed with a 3080 mAh Li-Ion removable battery with fast battery charging support.
The ZTE Grand X 3 features an 8-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash and autofocus and comes with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. It can record videos in 720p at 30 frames per second. Other camera features include touch focus, geotagging, and face detection.
The ZTE Grand X 3 is a standard SIM smartphone. The other connectivity options of the device are USB Type-C, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, and hotspot. The device's sensors include the proximity and accelerometer.
The ZTE Grand X 3 is available in black color only. It measures 154.2 x 76 x 9.4 mm in dimension with a weight of 170.1 grams. It is currently selling at price tag of $79.99, which is the expected price at AT&T.
