The Intex Aqua E4 smartphone has been introduced in India priced at $49 (around Rs. 3333).

The Intex Aqua E4 is the latest entry-level device from the Indian mobile company Intex. It is an addition to the famous Aqua series. It has a small 4-inch TFT touchscreen display.

Under the hood, the Intex Aqua E4 is powered by a quad-core chipset clocked at a speed of 1 GHz with 1GB of RAM. It comes with a SOS feature that can send alerts to the pre-selected contacts in emergency situations by holding the volume up and volume down button for more than three seconds.

The Intex Aqua E4 features a 2-megapixel camera at the back with dual LED flash and autofocus. It also has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera with face beauty mode to enhance selfies and video chatting. The device runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box.

The Intex Aqua E4 is equipped with 8GB of internal storage that could be further expanded up to a maximum of 32GB with the use of a microSD card slot. It is packed with an 1800 mAh non-removable battery that can last for a day on moderate usage.

The Intex Aqua E4 comes with dual SIM capability that allows users to use two different numbers on a single device. Other connectivity options are USB 2.0 port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/A-GPS, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India).

The Intex Aqua E4 does not have many features but will be very useful for the first time Android users. It is available in gray and white color.
