The Coolpad Note 3S and Mega 3 smartphones have been unveiled in India and will be available exclusively on Amazon India starting Dec. 7.
The Coolpad Note 3S is the successor of the popular Coolpad Note 3 smartphone. It has a 5.5-inch high-definition IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and dual curved glass on top. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 415 MSM8989 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.36 GHz.
The Coolpad Note 3S comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage as well as a microSD card slot. It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and f/2.2 aperture as well as a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with the same aperture. It is packed with a 2500 mAh battery that can last up to 200 hours on standby mode.
The Coolpad Mega 3 has the same display size as the Note 3S but does not have a curved glass. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735P chipset coupled with the Mali-T720 graphics processing unit. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in memory that can be extended further up to a maximum of 64GB.
The Coolpad Mega 3 runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system based Coll UI 8.0. It features an 8-megapixel sensor on the front and back with LED flash. It is packed with a 3050 mAh battery that can give at least a day of mixed usage.
The Coolpad Note 3S and Mega 3 are equipped with a fingerprint scanner on the back. While the Coolpad Note 3S supports dual SIM dual standby and offers both FDD and TD-LTE, the Coolpad Mega 3 has triple SIM slots supporting 4G and a fourth slot for adding microSD card.
The Coolpad Note 3S and Mega 3 are priced at $147.16 (around Rs. 9999) and $103.01 (approximately Rs. 6999). Both will be sold exclusively through Amazon India starting from Dec. 7.
