The Meizu Pro 6 Plus smartphone has been unveiled in China.
The Meizu Pro 6 Plus looks similar to the recently launched Meizu Pro 6S smartphone with an aluminum built unibody design and curved antenna bands. It has a 5.7-inch quad high-definition Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a pixel density of 518 ppi.
The Meizu Pro 6 Plus offers 600 nits of brightness and supports 3D Touch same as the latest iPhones. However, the usage will be limited to just system apps. The Always-On Display (AOD) feature indicates the time, date, battery life, and notifications.
The Meizu Pro 6 Plus is powered by the latest octa-core Exynos 8890 chipset coupled with Mali T880 graphics processing unit on top. It runs on the new Flyme 6 operating system based on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.
The Meizu Pro 6 Plus sports a LED ring flash below the rear camera that contains 10 LEDS. It comes with a 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage variants. The 64GB variant has a chipset clocked at a speed of 2.0 GHz with Mali T880 MP10 GPU for $435 (around Rs. 29,900 or 2999 yuan), while the 128GB variant the same chipset clocked at a speed of 2.43 GHz with Mali T880 MP12 GPU for $480 (approximately Rs. 32,900 or 3299 yuan).
The Meizu Pro 6 Plus features a 12-megapixel IMX386 camera at the back with four-axis optical image stabilization, 6P lens, phase detection autofocus, f/2.0 aperture, and laser autofocus. It also features a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with 5P lens and f/2.0 aperture.
The Meizu Pro 6 Plus packs a 3400 mAh non-removable battery with mCharge fast charging technology. It is also equipped with dual SIM dual standby support, ArcSoft's skin adaptive algorithm technology for better selfies, and ES9018 and ADA4807 dedicated audio chips for Hi-Fi audio output.
The Meizu Pro 6 Plus will be available in sky gray, champagne gold, and moonlight silver color.
