The Samsung Notebook 9 laptops have been unveiled.
The Samsung Notebook 9 was announced earlier this year at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). It comes with a built-in fingerprint sensor, an ultra-slim bezel, and near edge-to-edge display that reclines 180 degrees in both the 13.3-inch and 15-inch series.
Both the Samsung Notebook 9 laptops have been upgraded with the seventh-generation 'Kaby Lake' Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processors as well as faster storage and memory. The 13.3-inch variant comes with the options of Intel Core i5 or i7 processor while the 15-inch variant will ship with only Core i7 processor.
The bigger 15-inch Samsung Notebook 9 laptop is powered by the Windows 10 operating system. It has a 1080p full high-definition display and can be configured to Intel Core i7 processor with memory options of either 4GB or 8GB LPDDR3.
The 15-inch Samsung Notebook 9 sports either 128GB or 256GB SSD storage options. It measures 347.9 x 229.4 x 14.9 mm with a weight of 0.98 kgs. Other connectivity options include 2 USB 3.0 ports, mini Ethernet, HP/mic, USB Type-C port, HDMI port, microSD port, and Bluetooth.
The 15-inch Samsung Notebook 9 supports Windows Hello to let users sign-in to the device with a touch. It has a battery on the back that can provide life up to 12 hours with a quick charging feature that can charge it fully in 20 minutes.
The smaller 13.3-inch Samsung Notebook 9 comes with similar specifications to its sibling. However, the connectivity option includes Bluetooth v4.1, 1.5W x 2 speakers, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac 2X2, a 720p camera on the front and a Dual Array Digital Mic. It measures 309.4 x 208 x 13.9 mm and weighs 0.81 kgs.
No information has been announced about the pricing and availability of the Samsung Notebook 9.
