The BLU Life Max smartphone has been unveiled in the U.S.
The BLU Life Max is the latest entry-level affordable smartphone from U.S.-based smartphone brand BLU with some decent specifications. It is a good device for those who are on a tight budget.
The BLU Life Max comes with a metal finished frame with a removable back cover that has a faux leather finish. It has a 5.5-inch high-definition display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and a 2.5D glass on the top.
The BLU Life Max is powered by a quad-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6737 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.3 GHz. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot.
The BLU Life Max features an 8-megapixel autofocus camera at the back and a 5-megapixel fixed focus selfie camera on the front. Both cameras can capture good images even in the low light conditions since they are equipped with LED flash.
The BLU Life Max performs well with regular applications such as Twitter, Facebook, and WhatsApp but will experience lags while playing heavy games. It also runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box.
The BLU Life Max is packed with a 3700 mAh battery that can provide three days of battery life on standard usage and lasts up to 30 days on standby mode. It also comes with a fingerprint scanner below the rear camera for additional security purposes.
The BLU Life Max measures 154.5 x 77.1 x 8.7 mm and weighs 153 grams. It supports dual SIM dual standby and network carriers such as AT&T, T-Mobile, and MetroPCS. Other connectivity options are Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm audio port, GPS, Wi-Fi, Cat. 4 LTE, and microUSB 2.0 port.
The BLU Life Max is priced at just $120 (around Rs. 8100) and is being sold in the U.S. via Amazon. It comes in dark blue color with a protective free silicon case and screen protector.
