Samsung did not introduce any flagship phone during the CES 2017. However, the revamped Samsung Galaxy A3 flaunts features and design that could compete against the iPhone 7.

Samsung unveiled new products - new televisions, a gaming laptop, and a Chromebook - at CES 2017. Instead of a new flagship phone, the 2017 version of the Galaxy A3 was unveiled. The affordable phone is expected to boost the company's product line and help it recover from the Note 7 fiasco.

The Samsung Galaxy A3 2017 edition features a 2.5D glass finish that gives it a smooth and classy appearance - a big difference from the Galaxy A3 of 2016. The phone has a professional feel since the rim is made of metal instead of plastic likethe older version, according to Trusted Reviews.

The new phone also comes in four different colours. A soft pink and a deep black will be offered in the international market, while the gold and blue variation would be available in some regional markets. The bezels for the display is reduced in size, while the camera bump is no more.
