The Nintendo 3DS is almost seven years old now. The current flagship console has gone through different versions in those years from the bulky original 3DS XL, non-3D 2DS, New 3DS, and New 3DS XL.
However, the system is still very much alive because of new engaging titles every year. This year, the most awaited Nintendo 3DS games are Pikmin, Mario Sports Superstars, Lady Layton, Poochy and Yoshi's Woolly World, and Dragon Quest 8: Journey of the Cursed King.
Pikmin is a classic Nintendo original, and it will be coming to the 3DS for the first time this year. The developers are said to have converted it to a 2D side-scroller which comes as a disappointment to fans. However, Pikmin still offers huge flecks that will allow players to fight enemies, finish tasks, and solve puzzles. Mario Sports Superstars, on the other hand, takes all sports such as tennis, basketball, golf, soccer and even horse-racing.
Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy is the last title of the Layton series, and it will continue with the dapper gentleman's daughter, Katrielle, who will bring the game's intricate storytelling and puzzle-solving alive this year.
Meanwhile, Poochy and Yoshi's Woolly World will migrate to the Nintendo 3DS this year after its abysmal sales with the Wii U. It will feature a Yarn-enthused world with a cute sidescrolling platformer which will surely entertain players. Lastly, Dragon Quest 8: Journey of the Cursed King, which was first released for PlayStation 2 in 2004 and iOS and Android in 2013, will come to the 3DS soon. Players will enjoy a massive world with monsters to fight using unique skills and attacks.
