The ZTE Blade V8 smartphone was officially released at the Consumer Electronics Show 2017.
The ZTE Blade V8 has received certification from the Chinese telecommunications equipment certification center (TENAA). It comes with the model number ZTE BV0800 and sports a metal built body.
The ZTE Blade V8 has a 5.2-inch full high-definition display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 2.5D glass laid on top. It runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box with the MiFavor 4.2 user interface.
The ZTE Blade V8 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 435 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.4 GHz and coupled with the Adreno 505 graphics processing unit. It comes in two storage variants: one with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage and another with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in memory. The device also comes with a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The ZTE Blade V8 features a 13 megapixels autofocus sensor and a two megapixels fixed-focus sensor at the back. The rear camera is placed horizontally on the top rear of the device. The dual lens camera can capture Bokeh and 3D photos.
The ZTE Blade V8 also comes with a 13-megapixel fixed focus front-facing camera for selfies. Both front and rear cameras are fitted with LED flash to capture decent images even in the low light conditions.
The ZTE Blade V8 is packed with a 2730 mAh non-removable battery and measures just 7.7 mm thick. It is equipped with a physical home button on the front embedded with a fingerprint scanner as well as the volume rocker and power button on the right edge. Other connectivity options are VoLTE, 4G, GPS, Bluetooth v4.1, 3.5mm audio port, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and USB Type-C port.
The ZTE Blade V8 will be available in Russia and Japan by the end of February, and in Germany, Spain, and China by March. It will come in silver, rose gold, champagne gold, and dark gray color.
