The Samsung Galaxy J1 4G smartphone has been introduced in India.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 4G comes with a polycarbonate shell with the basic entry-level specification. It has a 4.5-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 4G is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7727SE chipset clocked at a speed of 1.3 GHz and coupled with Mali 400 graphics processing unit on board. It runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system out of the box with the customized TouchWiz user interface.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 4G comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in memory that can be extended up to a maximum of 128GB with the provided microSD card slot. It includes Ultra data saving mode (UDS), S Power Planning feature, and S Bike mode.
The Samsung Galaxy J1 4G features a 5-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash and an aperture of f/2.2 that can record videos at a high-definition resolution. It also comes with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera with the same f/2.2 aperture.
