After Motorola updated the Moto G last year, there have been speculations about its upcoming smartphones. Thanks to several leaks, a lot of detail is available about Motorola's upcoming G5 and G5 Plus smartphones.
Some photos have been leaked online showing the smartphones. The devices appear to come with a plastic body. However, we could be mistaking metal or any other material for plastic.
The pictures show that there is a curve on the back of the phones. With rumored dimensions of 150 x 73.8 x 8.4 mm, the photos showed smartphones in both gold and silver color. A black version was also spotted in one of the leaks.
The Moto G5 and G5 Plus are likely to be launched in March. The G5 is expected to come with a screen of 5.5 inches, Full HD (480 PPI) display, Snapdragon 562 octa-core processor, Adreno 506, 32GB storage onboard, 4 GB of RAM, and a battery of 3080mAh. This smartphone could come with the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and a fingerprint sensor. The G5 Plus is expected to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. However, no other information is available about its specs.
According to Pocket-Lint, these images and specs could just represent a prototype, and there is no evidence that Motorola will launch the devices as the Moto G5 and G5 Plus.
Motorola is likely to make an announcement about its upcoming line of smartphones soon.
