Nokia is working on a new virtual assistant called Viki. The company is reportedly looking to incorporate the Artificial Intelligence-based voice assistant in its upcoming smartphones.
Nokia has submitted an application for a trademark to the European Union for its AI-powered voice assistant, Viki. This filing reveals that Nokia's is working on a virtual assistant which will likely be similar to the Artificial Intelligence assistants of Apple and Microsoft.
Meanwhile, HMD has revealed that the Android-powered Nokia 6 will hit the market this year. The release of the smartphone would mark Nokia's return to the smartphone market. The device is likely to come with Nokia's Artificial Intelligence-powered assistant, Viki.
According to the trademark filing, Nokia's Viki will be a software which will enable one to create and supervise mobile and web assistants, such as those which work with digital information and integrate all the data into a single chat.
There is a high probability that the upcoming smartphones manufactured by the company, under HMD Global's logo, will also come with Viki.
