LG's latest smartphone is set to hit the markets soon. The upcoming G6 is expected to have a 5.7-inch screen and almost no bezel.
The highly awaited, next-generation flagship smartphone from LG will not only boast of an extra tall 5.7-inch display but will also feature a unique aspect ratio of 18:9. The Verge reported that the LG G6 would also have QHD+ resolution.
LG is allegedly focusing primarily on improving the screen to body ratio of its upcoming smartphone. The most fascinating and clever update to the smartphone is perhaps the 18:9 screen to body ratio which is different from the usual 16:9 ratio.
However, this has not been the first time that a smartphone manufacturing company will steer away from the traditional ratio as Xiaomi's Mi Mix had a 17:9 ratio. However, LG appears to have gone a step beyond Xiaomi.
LG is also cutting down on its bezels, making the G6 very light. Since bezels are not in fashion now, LG has decided to trim them out as much as possible in its next-gen smartphone, Android Central reported.
The LG G6 smartphone will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain next month.
