Bandai Namco has revealed that "Tekken 7" has a delayed release date than its original plan. It is indicated that the delayed release date is because of the team not wanting to cut any content from the game.
Director Katsuhiro Harada shares in a report on why "Tekken 7" has been delayed. He notes that the team has done everything to set out an early release but in the end they decided to stick on the delayed launch date for the game. This is to make sure that the team will not miss anything on the content of the said game.
It is also explained in the report that the team looks into the quality of the content for "Tekken 7." The delayed launch has further been explained by Bandai Namco Community Manager, Dalton Link. He expresses that the console version of the game includes features that are not in the arcade version. The gameplay for the console version has been improved based on the arcade version.
Additionally, the console version also has a full story in it. All the improvements to the game are being enhanced which has led the team to move the launch date of "Tekken 7." Fans need wait for the official launch date for a more improved gameplay.
Meanwhile, Bandai Namco has released a teaser trailer for "Tekken 7." The game will set the climax for the battle between Kazuya Mishima and Heihachi. It is indicated that the latest game is a culmination of a higher development.
There are more characters added in "Tekken 7" and this new game is set to surpass the arcade version. There are also more tournament modes added into the game. It seems that the game has been highly enhanced for a better gameplay. This has been the reason for the game's launch to be delayed.
"Tekken 7" is set to be launched in June 2017.
