Hanson Robotics has built an educational toy named "Professor Einstein." This new robot has an artificial intelligence that can answer children's questions about science.
According to a report, the "Professor Einstein" robot has its own facial expressions. The hands and arms of the robot can also point. The robot is 14.5 inch tall and can be connected to the internet. It is compatible with both Android and iOS phones and tablets. The device has a rechargeable battery.
It is indicated that those who can use the "Professor Einstein" robot are kids thirteen years old and above. Hanson Robotics also has built the original content of the robot and worked with other companies for their AI systems. The company has used the systems of IBM Watson and Microsoft's Xiaobing chatbot. These are used for the robot to be able to converse.
The "Professor Einstein" robot has been created by Andy Rifkin, he is the CTO of Hanson Robotics in Hong Kong. Rifkin has previously worked for Time Warner, Mattel, United Internet Technologies and Disney. He has invented toys that have been famous in the 90's and in the year 2000.
Meanwhile, the "Professor Einstein" robot is loaded with a lot of knowledge in order to give out the right answers to someone's questions about science. It also is built with anecdotes that are funny and the robot also has exaggerated expressions.
Professor Einsten, however small is dressed up for the profession. The robot wears black pants, a white sweater that has shirt collars with a black tie. T also is designed with a white straight hair. The hair is in contrast with the Professor's unruly hair in real life.
The "Professor Einstein" robot can work online and offline. Once it is connected to WIFI, it can give out educational information about weather and even with politics. This is a new way for kids to learn more about science and current events.
