The ZTE Blade A2 Plus smartphone is set to be unveiled in India on Friday, Feb. 3.
The ZTE Blade A2 Plus will be the first smartphone to be launched this year from the Chinese mobile manufacturer ZTE. The company started sending out media invitations for the event this week.
The ZTE Blade A2 was launched in China last year. Its main highlight is its massive 4900 mAh battery with fast charging support.
The ZTE Blade A2 Plus will have a 5.5-inch full high-definition display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, a pixel density of 401 pixels per inch, and a 2.5D curved glass laid on top. It will run on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Mifavor 3.5 operating system out of the box.
The ZTE Blade A2 Plus will come in two RAM variants; 3GB and 4GB. It will have 32GB of internal storage with the option to further expand it up to a maximum of 128GB via a microSD card slot on board.
The ZTE Blade A2 Plus will be powered by the 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6750T chipset under the hood clocked at a speed of 1.55 GHz and coupled with Mali T860 graphics processing unit inside. It will also be equipped with a fingerprint scanner located on the back.
The ZTE Blade A2 Plus will feature a 13-megapixel camera at the back with dual-LED flash and phase detection autofocus. It will also carry an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash as well.
The ZTE Blade A2 Plus will be a hybrid dual-SIM (Nano + Nano) device. Other connectivity options are 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
The ZTE Blade A2 Plus will measure 155 x 76.2 x 9.8 mm in dimension with a weight of 189 grams. It will be available in gold and silver color.
The pricing of ZTE Blade A2 Plus will be unveiled on Friday. However, in China, the 3GB variant was priced at $222.33 (around Rs. 15,000 or 1499 yuan) and the 4GB variant at $251.98 (approximately Rs. 17,000 or 1699 yuan).
