In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Final Fantasy games, Square Enix reveals a release date for a new “Final Fantasy 15” DLC. The new DLC will be separated into 3 contents. In addition, the company also shared details about new and upcoming FF games in the future.
According to reports, the first DLC will be available on February 21 and will allow players to use Magitek Exosuits. These suits make Noctis and his team undefeatable for 30 minutes before requiring a recharge. This should be enough time for players to take on the most difficult boss with much better chances of winning.
Then on March 28, gamers get to play a new role in “Final Fantasy 15” named Gladio. In the game, Gladio took a time off so his episode will reveal what happened to him during this time.This is the first character that gamers can play besides Noctis and his gang so this should make things exciting for everyone. In addition, players will also be able to control Cor Leonis and Prompto’s own episode to be released sometime in June.
“Final Fantasy 15” was released last November 29 and has sold over 5 million units within 24 hours from its release. As of today, it has the biggest digital sale for a game in Japan with over 690,471 units sold. Its creator, Hironobu Sakaguchi, and other game designers like Takashi Morinaka, Teruyuki Toriyama and Shigeo Komori said FF XV is their favorite game last year.
The “Final Fantasy XV” is an action RPG and features a similar gameply with Kingdom Hearts series but with an open-world environment. It plays in a fictional dimension called Eos and players battle numerous monsters and big boss to progress through the game and save the world of Eos from total destruction.
