Nintendo recently released a trailer for "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD." The trailer focused mainly on amiibo figurines and how it will work along with the upcoming game which was remastered for the Wii U console.
The video was released by Nintendo Deutschland. The trailer also confirms previous speculations claiming that Toon Link and Link can replenish player's arrows, Sheik and Zelda can restore their hearts while Ganondorf ups the difficulty of the game by increasing the damage taken by Link.
The trailer also gave gamers a peek at the functions of the Wolf Link amiibo figurine. Based on the trailer, the amiibo can unlock the Cave of Shadows, a level where Midna and Wolf Link face waves of enemies. Once completed, players can save their personal record on the amiibo and try to beat their high score by going through the level again, according to IGN.
Nintendo also hinted that the Wolf Link amiibo will have a unique function in the upcoming installment of the widely popular "Zelda" franchise. The upcoming game will be released for the Wii U console and will hit the market in the latter part of 2016.
On the other hand, "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD" will hit the North American and European market on Mar. 4. The game will be released in its native Japan later on Mar. 10.
Fans of the franchise have been waiting since 2015 for the upcoming re-mastered version of the "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess." Nintendo has pushed and postponed the official release date of the game a couple of times, and now it appears that the company has finally settled with an exact release date which will surely appease fans.
According to Independent, Nintendo is off to a busy year as the company prepares for the official release of its new console dubbed, the NX. Nintendo has been quietly working on the console for quite some time now and some tech analysts are positive that the company is vying for a major return in the console gaming industry.
Coupled with some exclusive and highly-anticipated titles, Nintendo is posing a serious threat to the current titans in console gaming; the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
