ZTE Axon 7 can be Updated to Android Nougat for Google Daydream Compatibility; More Emojis Introduced

ZTE Axon 7 users can now update their device to the Android Nougat operating system, which will enable the smartphone to support Daydream compatibility. The update also introduces more emojis and enables users to run apps side-by-side.

The Axon 7 joins other devices including the Pixel, Pixel XL, Moto Z-Droid, and Moto Z Force Droid which are Daydream compatible. According to The Verge, more units will soon be compatible with the Daydream following the update. These devices include the Huawei Mate 9 Pro and the Asus ZenFone AR.

The update also introduces new emojis and the ability to run two apps in split-screen. The update also improves the device's battery life. According to ZDNET, the phone is priced at $400. The Daydream view headset is not included in the package, it is currently on sale for $50.

With the update, the Axon 7 can now identify spam and robocalls, thanks to Hiya's technology.
