We also now know that the US version of "Resident Evil: Vendetta" will have a limited run in theaters to coincide with its home media release. Gamespot says that Vendetta was first announced in 2015 and is set for a Japanese release on May 27, 2017. There is no US date as yet, but it is expected to follow later in the year. The film is written by Makoto Fukami and directed by Takanori Tsujimoto.

US fans excited to see "Resident Evil: Vendetta" may be disappointed to learn that the film isn't necessarily releasing in the US on the same day as Japanese audiences get to see it, but perhaps the chance to see it on the big screen will make up for the possible delay.
