Despite being called the love month, Niantec is letting things slide. Reports of the "Pokemon Go" gaming frachise getting a revamped because of the Valentine's Day is on the rise. Details of the game offering freebies and other items are escalating as well.
To prove the latter, Forbes shared that it's Valentine's Day in "Pokémon GO," just in time for the East Coast to get buried under a massive snowstorm and force any would-be Pokémon trainers in the region to suit up with conductive gloves and trudge through the snow to take advantage of the event.
The event comes with double candy for all activities, increased spawns on "pink" Pokémon and lures extended to a whopping six hours and double candy is probably the biggest thing to happen in this event, allowing players to save up for some of those high-priced evolutions missing from the Pokédex, reports the same post.
Additional reports indicated that the creator Niantic has launched a special Valentine's Day event where users can earn double the amount of candy, as well as catch more pink Pokemon such as Clefairy, Chansey, and Porygon.
The limited edition event has begun last February 8 at 11 a.m. Pacific until February 15 at 11 a.m. Pacific for "Pokemon Go" and it is presumed that the appearance of the Pink Pokemon might be unyielding while the pink Pokémon is pretty easy to get. Moreover, Players can just go outside and catch them all, particularly on Valentine's Day.
For "Pokemon Go" enthusiast, every day is a brand-new moment to catch and collect Pokemon. For Niantec, adding new characters on Valentine's Day is among the anticipated event for the players.
