Siri just got even more relevant this Valentine's Day. Not only that, it just got updated with references to the upcoming "The Lego Batman Movie" and pretends she's the Batcomputer.
Apple's digital assistant will surprise you when you say "Hey 'Puter" or "Hey Computer" (even in your regular, non-Will Arnett voice). Siri will respond with a couple of different Batman-appropriate responses, such as, "How can I help you, Lego Batman" and "Welcome home, sir. FYI, Robin is trying on costumes in the Batcave again. He's doing some pirouettes in Batryshnikov."
At the same time, possibly until February 15, you can talk to Siri about love this Valentine's -- if you're not out on a date with an actual human.
Apple has equipped Siri to help you book romantic restaurants, choosing romantic playlists, and even throw you some witty albeit cringe-worthy pick-up lines like, "Is your name Bluetooth? Because I'm feeling a connection" or "Like the ideal vacuum, you're the only thing in my universe."
When asked who her (or its) valentine is, Siri responds with, "I don't have a Valentine, but I do have a rather beautiful ontology." When asked if it will be our Valentine, Siri answers, "Well this is awkward," or "I'd love to, but I lack corporeal form."
Before Valentine's week came around, Siri had already been dodging date questions. When asked, "Will you go on a date with me?" Siri responded with, "Aww, that's sweet. But I, uh, already, um, have plans. Yeah. I have plans."
